A little help here, people....

Does anyone know how to host video? I have some stuff we've shot with digital cameras that I think would be fun to share. Mostly tanks and stuff, or the boys clowning around with the IA, but fun nonetheless.

Bandwidth here is abysmal, so I don't think I'll post video very often, but I' like to know how. (Of course, when I'm on leave not doing *other* things, I do have bandwidth there...

Try sending an email to Neil Prakash at Armor Geddon. He posted cool videos on his blog this past year while he was at Warhorse. His tanks fought in Fallujah last Nov.

There are two ways to post video. The easiest is to just link to the video file the same way you to do a picture, this is easy but the link has to be clicked on before it works and the file has to be downloaded before it plays, this can result in long lag times. The alternative is to use a streaming server which requires specialized software on the back end but will start to play as soon as a portion of the video is received. Yahoo has a free service that, I have heard about but not tried, which will let you post videos, though they have a daily bandwidth cap.
