It's time...

Matty O'Blackfive sent me this nice email. I'll re-word it for those more used to the way I write. (My comments in parenthetical italics) {For the truly retarded, you need to click the valour-it "make a donation button" over there <<---- }

Please consider joining Team Army to win the 2006 Project Valour IT competition.
(Hi Folks! Time to guilt up the "We support the troops, but not the war" crowd! Tell'em to open their wallets and shut their cake-holes. After they donate, thank them, and then tell them to continue shutting the hell up. Then kick them in the pills for me, take their wallets and max them out on the SA website.) As for the rest of you, please donate to team Army! (Aftr all, it was a Soldier who started this thing, and a Soldier's Mom, (Not you Carla, thanks again Patti!) started soldier's angels in the first place. Of course, that doesn't matter to the swabbie, jarhead, or zoomie in hospital, and hospital PJs are all the same color. We treat everyone on the wards equally, but we still love the banter.)
Let's see who can raise the most money to help reconnect our wounded warriors with the world! (John Kerry and John McCain (from McCain and McAble) need not apply (for Horseface--this is for servicemembers who were really wounded; as for McCaine--You lost the faith brother, You're dead to me.) I'm sorry, this isn't a political rant or cause. My feelings about those two arseholes has *NO* place here. If I could just figure out how to edit these posts... Damn voice activated software. Won't let me delete "truthful" statements, especially if they need to be said)

WHAT: Friendly fundraising competition for Valour-IT.
WHEN: October 30th through Veterans Day, November 10th .
WHERE: Based in the blogosphere, spreading everywhere else.
WHY: Because giving wounded warriors with hand and arm injuries access to a computer supports their healing and puts them back in touch with the world.
HOW: Blogger teams will be divided along military branches, with civilians "up for grabs."
Team Army only needs to raise $45,000. We really need your help. (One Million woild be better. We could be entirely self sustaining then.)
