A Day of Infamy

1178 wounded.

2,043 dead.

Almost 1400 of them in the first 15 minutes when the USS Oklahoma, USS Utah, and the USS Arizona were hit.

I, for one, never twinge when a member of our greatest generation of the 2oth century refers to them as "Japs" or even "Yellow Bastards." It is hard, very hard, to see this happen to your fellow countrymen and not hate the ones that did this forever.

We could learn a lesson from this. No formal declaration of war prior to the event, do this.
