His name is John W. Rodriguez and he claimed to have been a gunnery sargent in the 7th ESB, USMC as best I can tell from the video. He claimed he was deploying to Fallujah to get out of an alcohol related offense.

He also claimed to have been awarded a Silver Star and Navy Cross.

The Marine Corps has no record of him. He's wanted for fraud and federal crimes.
