Back on the mend

Laproscopic Cholecystectomy hurts.

Especially when the gall bladder, which is supposed to be dissected internally, is too scarred and full of stones to chop to belly-button-sized bits for removal.  Instead, the whole swollen, diseases mass had to be taken out through the belly button.  For comparison, look at your belly button.  Now look at a tennis ball.  Imagine the ball being pulled through the belly button, whole.  A certain amount of muscle is torn in the process ( luckily, skin is pretty elastic.)

For a sprinkling of insult to injury, imagine you also have three stab wounds just under the ribs as well.

I'm healing as rapidly as possible.  Drugs are good but make me tired, nothing new there.
