I missed the Army-Navy game. I was hung over from the aforementioned promotion, and as punishment, the Mrs. took Mom out shopping and left me and my hangover to watch the kids.
Regardless, I did manage to figure this out all by myself.
What does the Navy and our Middle-Eastern enemy have in common?
Goat Buggery. Or at least, Manchild Buggery. Not that the practice is too common, nor is it entirely widespread, but the historical precedent is there.
Hell, the seamen even go so far as to polish the scrotum of their goat idol at annapolis. If that doesn't show a certain amount of misplaced affection, what does?
