Fake Marine Extradited to Phoenix to Face Punishment

PHOENIX - A man convicted of impersonating a Marine has arrived back in Phoenix to face justice. John Rodriguez was convicted on 13 counts of fraud and forgery charges, but skipped out on his verdict.

A warrant was issued for his arrest and Rodriguez was captured in California on July 15. He was stopped on suspicion of DUI near Lake Tahoe and that's when California officers realized he was a fugitive from justice out of Arizona.
